Enjoying the day off here in brooklyn! About to put some meat on the grill. Mmmmmmmmm.

One of the things The only thing I miss about living in the midwest is the Chicago style pizza that was only a [very worthy] 5 hour car ride away. My all time favorite is Giordano’s. I’m such an addict that someone once paid to have one packed in dry ice and sent overnight to me as a gift (which by the way was the best gift ever!)

While I was in Florida last week, I passed a Giordano’s that I had no idea existed only a few blocks away from my grandfather’s house. The restaurant has about 40 locations in the Chicago area, and 5 or 6 in Florida. Needless to say I had dinner there a few nights later, and it was the best pizza I’ve had in about 2 years- since I last went to Chicago. Figured I’d share this picture of this amazing pizza in case anyone else shares my love for Chicago style pizza.

So for all u that missed it……we r havin a blast on the upper east side!!!!!!

My life was honestly a little incomplete until someone introduced me to this site. Now it fills the little place inside me that used to be filled with vegetables and seitan. Now all i can think about is a corndog pizza. Thanks fat america!

Props to The Gothamist for finally discussing the maple syrup smell that permiates Manhattan about once a week. I’ve had conspiracy theories about this for months but now we’ve sorta got an answer (i think it’s still a coverup for something clandestine related to WOM) - anywho, read up. and stop licking buildings. They aren’t pancake flavored.

Post pitch, we’ve ordered Wally’s pizza and ordered off menupages’ onscreen list of choices.  It’s only February so you think you’ve been good kicking off the year, why not order those carbs, right?  Goddamn flat wrong. You get ads like this reminding you Spring is only around the corner.

Get the lamb and roasted lemon by the way.  Its worth the muffin top.
