A house in the city?

Does anybody know what this “house” is, over on 63rd and 2nd Avenue? I didn’t see any signs for a business, and there’s a little greenhouse type building off to the left side… About 10 hours prior to seeing this little house, I was having a conversation about how weird it would be to have a normal, fenced in house with a yard in the middle of the city… So I’m wondering what exactly this is. Any ideas let me know!

I have yet to try this app, but from what I read it sounds somewhat genius. I mean, sometimes you just need a clean bathroom that isn’t out of order, and doesn’t include a line of every Starbucks customer within a four block radius. So this app apparently tells you where the nearby restrooms are, and whether or not they are open; including ratings and features. This is all sponsored by Charmin, so I’m sure they have some agreements with the companies in the listing as to only stock Charmin toilet paper- perhaps? Genius though. I’m going to download it right now, even though I only use public restrooms as a very last resort kind of thing..

Waiting for the C train last night, I couldn’t help but notice the gummy bear stuck to the MTA map. I thought this was hilarious, not too sure why. While I was still giggling I walked over to the platform and saw another one stuck to the security monitor, about 9 feet high! I’m sure everyone in the station thought I was crazy, laughing and taking pictures of maps and tv screens at midnight.

There’s an old man that sits at the uptown A, C, B, D platform at Columbus Circle, with a portable cd player, and he has the most AMAZING voice! He was singing some blues last night, and he could amplify his voice throughout the entire station without a mic. He sounded great. If you’re ever in the area, stop for a listen.
